DNB (Diplomate in National Board) training in the field of GI surgery in 2010. He has worked there for nearly 4 years and has extensive experience of managing complex GI surgery & liver transplantation patients. He has worked and is trained under the pioneer of GI surgery & liver transplantation Prof. & Dr. Samiran Nundy, Dr Adarsh Chaudhary & Dr Arvinder Soin. He also has a brief experience at SGPGI (Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute), Lucknow. He has also worked as a Consultant Hepato-pancreato-biliary & GI Cancer Surgeon at Kaizen hospital, Ahmedabad. He has a special interest in complex Hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeries, GI cancer surgeries & advanced laparoscopic surgeries. He is highly interested in academic activities, has published many articles in national & international journals and presented many oral & video presentations at various national and international conferences. He is a reviewer in many reputed medical journals. He had been awarded travel grant award to participate & present a scientific paper in Congress of International Liver Transplantation Society, San Francisco by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Awareness in the field of GI & GI cancer surgery (Gastro surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology) is lacking in the state of Gujarat. His aim is to well develop this speciality in western India & built a center of excellence in this part of the country and so to provide a quality care to the patients. Due to health system in India, majority people have to pay from their pocket for the health care & majority do not have insurance cover, so he wishes is to provide the quality care at reasonable cost to the needy people.
